研究关注化学链燃烧技术的反应器设计，运行和模拟方面；目前拓展至化学链燃烧过程中颗粒物释放机制与重金属演化路径，高性能催化剂制备，煤清洁高效低碳利用等研究方向，与澳大利亚，西班牙，瑞典，美国等多所高校开展密切合作。同时，对多家化工企业，环保企业等提供技术支持，非常注重产学研的结合。

主持项目共计9项，项目经费总计超100万。

以第一作者身份发表期刊论文17篇，其中SCI论文12篇；申请国家发明专利7项。参加国际国内学术会议20余次，在第37届国际燃烧会议上做口头报告1次，在国际化学链会议上做口头报告3次，在中澳能源国际会议上做主题报告1次，在第三届全国青年燃烧学术会议做报告，工程热物理年会9次。

在工作中本着认真负责的态度，在学术中本着谦虚谨慎的态度，团结协助组内成员，共同开拓科研新方向。
