Youwei Xie is a professor at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He was graduated in 2006 from Jilin University (China) with a Bacheor's degree. Then he moved to the United States and got his Master degree in 2009 from Syracuse University and Ph.D degree in 2014 from University of Pittsburgh, respectively. In 2015, he started his postdoctoral research at the Max-Planck Institute for Coal Research in Germany, mentored by Noble Laureate Prof. Benjamin List,and he was a recepient of the Humboldt Fellowship dring this time. Alltogether, he published more than 20 research articles in high-profile journals such as J. Am. Chem. Soc.、 Nat. Commun. 、 Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 、 ACS Catal.、 Chem. Sci., etc.,among which he was either first author or the corresponding author for 16 of them.
