Chengcheng Deng is an assistant professor in Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She received her Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University in July 2014, and visited Oregon State University in USA for one year during 2012 to 2013. Her current research interests are focused on thermal-hydraulic and safety analysis of nuclear energy, best-estimate code validation and uncertainty analysis, and micro/nano-scale simulation of thermal transport. She has chaired the national natural science foundation and participated in some other scientific research projects. More than 20 papers have been published in professional journals and academic conferences. She has won the second prize of teacher's teaching contest, excellent curriculum design, excellent head teacher and other honors.
