Hexuan Dong is the associate professor of urban design, landscape and architecture at the school of architecture and urban planning at HUST. He holds a PH.D in architecture from Tongji University (2008). He has participated as visiting scholar at GSD of Harvard University in Boston from 2012 to 2013. His research, writing and teaching focus on the urban design, landscape and urban design, the relationship between architecture design and urban design, 3D city and some other urban questions. Being a urban designer and architecture, Hexuan served as main designer of some world-renowned international practices like PDI. From 2000 until now, he experienced many urban design projects and won many international competition. Professional Experience

From 1996 to 2009, Dong Hexuan taught architecture design and research the three-dimensional city design in the school of architecture and urban planning of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. From Jan.2009 to current, being the associate professor, Dong Hexuan taught architecture design and urban design,. From Aug 2012-Aug 2013, Being Academic Visitor of Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Dong Hexuan studied Urban design from the view of urban planning and landscape architecture, and he focus the relationship among architecture, landscape and urban planning.
