Dr. Chao Fang is currently a tenured Professor of Pharmacology at Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology located in Wuhan, China. He received his PhD from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH in the US and performed postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. Dr. Fang’s group has a longstanding interest in the research of thrombosis, hemostasis, vascular biology and the pharmacology of antithrombotic drugs. Dr. Fang's work has been published on Blood, Nat Commun, ATVB, J Am Chem Soc, Brit J Pharmacol etc. He is the recipient of several awards such as the Global Research Award of American Society of Hematology, MRA Award of North American Society on Thrombosis and Hemostasis and Reach-the-World Award of International Society on Thrombosis and Hemostasis.
