Lu Gan is a Professor of National Engineering Research Center for Nanomedicine, College of Life Science and Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. She was selected as a distinguished professor of excellence program of Huazhong scholars. She is a  standing membrane of Nano-oncology Committee of Chinese Anticancer Association and member of  Nanodrug Committee of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association. She has published more than 30 papers in international  academic journals such as Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Communications, Chemical Society Reviews, Nano Letters, Cancer Research, Biomaterials, Cell Death and Differentiation, ACS Applied Materials & interfaces, and Theranostics, etc, as the corresponding author and first author. She has undertaken five research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and participated in three "973"  Programs.
