Dr. Xiwu Gu is a full lecturer of School of Computer Science and Technology at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, P. R. China. He holds a B.S. and M.Sc. in Electronic & Information Engineering and Pattern Recognition & AI from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1989 and 1998 respectively, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the same university in 2007. He was the visiting scholar of the Queen University, Belfast, UK, in 2008. He is working in Intelligent and Distributed Computing Laboratory (IDC-Lab).
Dr. Xiwu Gu’s is focused on distributing computing, cloud computing, information retrieval and social network analysis. He is the principal investigator or important contributor for more than ten research grants and project. He has published over 10 papers in refereed journals and conferences.
