JinQuan LIU works on MEMS-based precise gravimetry. He currently focuses on instrumentation and tests of high resolution inertial sensors for weak signal detection under complicated conditions with large dynamic noises, metrological methods for acceleration, gravity gradient, velocity and length in the low freqency range,  and novel Si-based inertial MEMS transducers and their design, fabrication and structural reliability, where there are many disciplines involved.
