Dr. Shiwei Lu is an associate professor and supervisor of postgraduate students of department of urban planning, HUST. He received his joint doctoral degree student from Wuhan University and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. His fields of expertise and research interests include regional and urban planning, spatial analysis theory and method, healthy city, etc. At present, he has been published many SCI/SSCI papers in Journal of Transport Geography, Cities, International Journal of Geo-Information, etc. He has involved in the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), Central University Research Foundation, three Provincial and Ministerial funds as PI. He has also attended in many projects of National Natural Science Foundation, and many practical projects such as provicial planning, general planning and so on.
