It is mainly engaged in the wave load, structural strength, structural fatigue, seakeeping, hydroelastic fluid-structural coupling responses of ships and offshore platforms, as well as the overall design of large nuclear powered underwater vehicles. In recent years, more than 50 academic papers have been published in the field of naval architecture and ocean engineering, and the papers have been published in international authoritative journals such as Composite Structures, Ocean Engineering, Thin walled Structures and so on. Among them, there are 15 SCI search papers and 13 EI papers with first author or communication author. Two software copyrights and one national defense invention patent were obtained with one work. He has been active in the international academic frontier, has been invited to make reports at international well-known academic conferences on ships and oceans for many times, and has been a reviewer of many well-known SCI journals.
