Doctor of Urban and Rural Planning of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, postdoctoral of Architecture, Ph.D. jointly cultivated by the Department of Geography of Durham University in the United Kingdom. Research direction: rural industry revitalization and human settlement space governance, rural human settlement and rural planning, rural space unit theory and analysis methods. Presided over 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and the National Construction High-level University International Student (Type A) project. Participated in 5 national, provincial and ministerial fund projects, and won 3 national, provincial and ministerial urban and rural planning and design awards. Published 1 book (co-authored) (In press), edited 1 textbook, and participated in editing 4 textbooks. He has published more than 20 papers in "Urban Planning", "Urban Planning Forum", "Urban Development Studies", "Economic Geography", SCI/SSCI journals and high-level academic conferences at home and abroad.
