Professor Wu Qiu received National Excellent Youth Award and joined Huazhong University of Sicence and Technology on 2021. Prior to this, Prof. Qiu was an assistant professor at the Department of Radiology and Clinical Neuroscience in University of Calgary, Canada.  His reseach interests are focused on applying machine learning and artificial intelligence on clinical problems, such as computer aided diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke using imaging and multi-modality imaging gudied prostate biopsy and therapy. He has publised more than 100 papers on prestigious journals and conferences, such as Medical Image Analysis，IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, Radiology，Stroke，MICCAI. As principle investigator (PI), his research was funded by CIHR (Canadian Institutes of Health Research）and Alberta Innovate.
