Wang Jianjun is an associate professor and master's supervisor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In 2008, he obtained his bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from Central South University. In 2013, he obtained his doctorate degree in mechanical engineering from Zhejiang University. From 2013 to 2014, he worked at Institue of Aerospace Systems Engineering Research in Shanghai. In 2014, he joined the School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In 2018, he was promoted to be an associate professor at the School of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering. His main research interests include ship's mechatronics system control technology, marine engineering and  technology, marine renewable energy technology, marine unmanned vehicle (cluster) technology. He has presided over project supported by  the National Natural Science Foundation of China and other research projects funded by corporations. Up to now, eight papers have been published in SCI journals, and 6 patents have been granted. He has won the second prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award (rank 3).
