Introduction of Wang Zhiyong

Wang Zhi Yong(Male), born in February 1983, An suuociate professor of department of Architecture and Urban Planning , is the Deputy Director of  Urban Planning Department in HUST（Huazhong University of Science and Technology. During the period of studying in Southwest Jiaotong University , Wang ranked at first place in grade. After graduated, he became a recommended student who is submitted to HUST( Huazhong University of Science and Technology) for the master's degree in 2007. Owing to the outstanding performance, Wang get the chance to pursue PhD without examination in 2009, and he got the Doctor’s degree in 2013. Moreover, Wang’s Doctoral Dissertation was recommended as outstanding doctoral thesis in Hubei Province in 2014. He has Presided a National Natural Science Fund Project and participated in 3 National Natural Science Fund Projects. Wang’s many academic papers has been published in the "Urban Planning", "Chinese Landscape Architecture", "Huazhong architecture" and other authoritative, core journals. One book He edited and the other 5 books he participated in were also has been published. Wang has hosted and participated in more than 30 actual projects, involving the Concept Planning, Urban master Planning, Regulatory Plan, Urban Design, Site Plan, Rural Plan and other fields.

In addition, the projects Wang guided got one provincial second prize, and the project he took part in also won 3 Provincial Second Prizes, and 2third prizes. His main research directions are Urban and Regional Development Research, Urban Ecological Planning, Rural Planning , Urban & Rural Planning ,etc.
