Sheng Yin is an associate Professor at School of Optical and Electronic Information, Huazhong University of Science & Technology. His research thrust areas are: flat panel displays, solar-cells and active frequency selective surfaces. He has presided over 2 projects of the National “863” High Technology Research and Development Program and a project of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He is author/coauthor of more than 40 publications and Chinese patents.

He directed students to win the first prize of "arm cup ARM SoC innovative design" national finals in the "second (2017-2018) National Undergraduate IC innovation and entrepreneurship competition", and won the excellent instructor of innovation and entrepreneurship activities of Huazhong University of science & technology. He has won the second prize of excellent teaching quality of Huazhong University of science & technology for many times.
