Dr. Pengxing Yi’s research concerns Measuring, Monitoring and Control of Manu-facturing Process, Design and Optimization of Complicated System, Environmen-tally Sustainable Manufacturing, etc. Presently, a major area of Dr. Yi focuses on condition testing and analysis technologies for in-service complicated industrial equipment, including methods to model and analyze the damage signal, nondestructive testing appliances to assess the quality status, and strategies to update the in-service performance of complicated equipment such as wind turbine, aircraft and .large drop-ship.
