Dr. Jianfeng Zang is currently Professor of the School of Integrated Circuits, Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, and the State Key Laboratory of Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment and Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research group focused on soft intelligent materials based innovative medical devices, including soft materials, flexible electronics, and magnetic medical robots. He has published more than 80 papers in journals including Nature Materials, Science Robotics, Science Advances, and Nature Communications. He is inventors of 28 patents. He served as chairman or co-chairman of several international and domestic conferences such as ISFSE 2017/2018 and SoRo 2019/2020. He was awarded the second prize of Hubei Provincial Natural Science Award (1/5, 2023) and the 2023 IAAM Scientist Medal of the International Association of Advanced Materials.
