Jun Zhang born in 1966,male, Ph.D, associate professsor，supervisor of  postgraduates , vice supervisor of doctoral candidates. He received the B.S. degree in mathematics from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, China,in 1986. Followed Professor Jian Liu, he received the M.S. degree in communication and information system and the Ph.D. degree in pattern recognition and intelligent systems from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST),Wuhan, Hubei, in 1999 and 2006, respectively. Followed Professor Shaoqun Zeng, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Biomedical Engineering Postdoctoral Station , HUST, from 2007 to 2011. Followed Professor Junbin Gao, he was a Visiting Academic at the School of Computing and Mathematics, Charles Sturt University, Bathurst, N.S.W.,  Australia,from 2008 to 2009. In 2013, he joined the School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation, HUST as an Associate Professor. He was a Lecturer, Associate Professor at the Institute for Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, HUST, from 1997 to 2013.  His research interests include machine learning, data mining, and computer vision.
