Graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, School of mechanical science and engineering in 2010 and obtained Ph. D. degree in Engineering. Main research interests are in the areas of optimization design and creative design. With the first author or corresponding author 10 papers are published and among them 4 are cited by SCI.

Her research interests include topology optimization design, and the decision-making support system for additive manufacturing. At HUST, she has conducted a challenging research to the optimization of piezocomposite-based vibrational energy harvesting devices with pattern gradation constrain, improved method for decreasing intermediate density elements in topology optimization, level set method for structural shape and topology optimization using radial basis functions and level set method for topological shape optimization of 3D structures with extrusion constraints. She has also conducted researches on hybrid manufacturing, including the hybrid manufacturing algorithm and the mechanic structure designing.

As a Mechanical School teacher, she teaches the courses of Mechanical Drawing, Mechanical Theory, Mechanical Design Innovation and the whole English courses for international undergraduate students. As an instructor teacher for mechanical innovation design students’ team, organizing students to participate in the national mechanical innovation design competition, digital product design competition and other innovation competition, and also lead the students’ team to participate in social practice of enterprise and production practice.
