Description of Research Group:
The National International Joint Research Center for Green Communications and Networks is a national-level disciplinary platform officially recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MSTC, No. 2015B01008), and is hosted by the School of Electronic Information and Communications at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In the 2021 national evaluation of 719 international joint research bases organized by MSTC, the Center was the only one in the field of information and communications rated as  "Excellent" (top 4% nationwide).
The Center primarily focuses on low-carbon and energy-efficient solutions for next-generation broadband mobile communication systems, and maintains extensive, stable, long-term, and mutually beneficial collaborations with leading universities and research institutes in the UK, Germany, France, the US, Australia, and other countries.
