Abstract: We propose transmissive color filter which can retain the same perceived color over a wide range of incident angle in the visible spectrum. The enhanced transmission is caused by Tamm plasmons (TP) based on multilayer thin film structure which consists of distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) and intermediate metal layer. High transmission of 60%similar to 70% efficiently improves the utilization of light energy and contributes to enhancing the color purity.
