Research area: Theoretical condensed matter and quantum physics
Broadly interested in topological and correlated quantum matter; jointly exploring quantum many-body physics and nonequilibrium open systems.
Four major studies: 1) quantum transport phenomena in topological/correlated systems; 2) excitation and probe of quantum matter (ARPES, pump-probe, photo-driving, etc.); 3) non-Hermitian physics, e.g., exceptional points, skin effects, and solid-state observation; 4) chiral magnets and topological magnetism (Skyrmion, Dirac monopole).
Publications 30+: see ORCID(https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3142-9232)。
Multiple experimentally verified predictions and/or explanations, such as:
Weyl semimetal - strongly correlated quantum liquid transport (PRB), nonmonotonic Hall effect (PRL), discovery of single-pair ideal minimal Weyl semimetal (Nature);
magnetic supression of non-Hermitian skin effect (PRL);
Chiral magnets - nonreciprocity/magnetochiral effect of phonon (PRL), critical phenomena of magnetic monopoles (Nat. Comm., PRB, NJP)
