• Enabled drug delivery through the design of formulations appropriate to the pharmaceutical and pharmacological tasks, including discovery pharmaceutics support to 5 early candidate nominations.

• Developed novel formulations for sustained release of drug candidates based on lyotropic liquid crystals and applied the formulations in the in vivo studies.

• Solid form screening of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and key pharmaceutical intermediates for scaled up multi-step synthesis.

• Inspected the interactions (chemical reactions, hydrogen bonding, salt formation, and charge transfer) between drug molecules and polymer excipients and the impact of the interactions on drug delivery.
