Description of Research Group:燃烧基础研究团队主要研究先进燃烧方式的基础问题。为了应对日益突出的环境问题和高新技术的发展，产生一系列先进的燃烧方式，比如富氧燃烧、无焰燃烧、微尺度燃烧以及醇类及生物质替代燃料的燃烧；这些先进的燃烧的基础问题包括着火、熄灭、火焰传播速度、稳定性以及污染物（比如NO和炭烟（soot）颗粒）形成，通过基础问题的研究揭示先进燃烧方式的化学反应动力学机理、湍流与燃烧之间的相互作用机制、燃烧稳定性的内在规律和污染物的生成机理。
