梅兰，文学博士，华中科技大学人文学院教授，曾赴美国加州大学伯克利分校访学一年。出版专著3部，合著1部，在《文学评论》《中国现代文学研究丛刊》《外国文学研究》等刊物发表论文40多篇，曾获第四届“紫金·江苏文学期刊优秀作品奖·《扬子江文学评论》奖”、第六届湖北文学奖之长江文艺言论类优秀作品奖，承担教育部人文社会科学研究项目、华中科技大学自主创新研究基金项目等。
