博士，教授，博士生导师。主要研究方向为学习空间研究、可持续性城市设计研究、住区规划与设计研究。承担建筑学专业本科课程：建筑设计、公共建筑设计原理；承担硕士研究生课程：建筑设计及理论前沿研究进展综述、国际合作联合设计工作坊；承担学校公选课大学生批判性思维。主持国家自然科学基金项目1项，湖北省自然科学基金项目1项，中央高校基本科研基金项目2项，华中科技大学教研项目2项。指导大学生创新训练项目5项。境内外期刊、会议发表论文50余篇，多次获得华中科技大学教学质量二等奖，指导学生参加国内外建筑设计竞赛和论文竞赛多次获奖。
