Dr. Wei Wei is now working as associate professor with the School of Computer Science and Technology at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). He received his PhD degree in Computer Software and Theory from HUST. His major research interests in information retrieval, data mining (text mining/social media analysis and mining), natural language processing, machine learning, artificial intelligence and recommender systems. During the PhD, he has joined in MSRA, NTU and NUS for research. Prior to HUST, he was a research fellow with NTU and SMU. He has published over 20 papers in the highly referred journals and conferences such as AAAI, SIGKDD, ICDE, CIKM, IEEE TKDE, IEEE TSMC-B, IEEE TC and etc. He was the Program Committee of ADMA’17, IJCAI’18, and the reviewer for Journal of Chinese computer science/Information Science. Currently he has served as a committee member of the Young Working Committee of Chinese Information Processing Society of China. He is also a Principle Investigator (PI) of a joint Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research  Laboratory (named Hero, Hust-Excellent-RongLian)  between Huazhong University of Sci. & Tec. and Ronglian Co, Ltd. In 2017, he was elected as the Program of 3551 Optical Valley Talent.
