Jingdong Zhang is currently a professor at School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. degree from Hunan University (China) in 2000, and then carried out postdoctoral studies at Chonbuk National University (South Korea), Kwansei Gakuin University (Japan), Kyoto University (Japan) and Jackson State University (USA) during 2001-2006.
