研究领域概述:
光学参量振荡器(OPO)是由非线性晶体来提供增益的特殊激光,可视为一种激光波长转换器件。其独特性一是能够在传统激光不能获得增益的波段产生激光,二是支持大范围波长调谐。OPO 的增益来源于非线性晶体,而晶体的增益中心波长和带宽可通过相位匹配来灵活设计与调控,这是OPO 输出波长灵活性与调谐能力的根源。基于OPO,能够在可见光、近红外、中红外波段的丰富波长产生可调谐激光。
中红外电磁谱段对应于分子的光谱学指纹区,波长范围为2.5-20微米,中红外波段的激光光源在科学研究,医学,环境检测,工业,制造业,以及国防与安全等领域有广泛的应用前景。当前,国际上公认中红外光电子学是前沿学科领域和极重要的战略性新兴产业。新型中红外激光光源的开发是中红外光电子学研究的关键内容。
课题组面向科研、医学、环境检测、制造业、以及国防与安全等领域的应用,致力于研究基于新结构新机理的超宽光谱、超短脉冲、超宽调谐范围以及高功率与高稳定性的可调谐激光光源。课题组近年来在可调谐激光光源方面的部分代表性研究成果如下:(1)面向光谱检测应用的1-18微米中红外可调谐飞秒/皮秒激光;(2)面向非线性光学显微镜应用的650-2300nm可调谐飞秒/皮秒激光;(3)2.5-4.2微米可调谐窄线宽连续波激光。
