  • Abstract:
    A new type of ice source heat pump system is proposed based on problem that the water source temperature is too low to cause the evaporator frozen of the existing surface water source heat pump system in winter. The operating principle of ice slurry production by supercooled water method and the structure of dynamic ice making device are introduced. The influence of ice packing fraction on the performance and operation safety of ice source heat pump system is analyzed. The functional relationship between supercooled water temperature and ice packing fraction of slurry is analyzed and Fluent software is used to simulate the flow characteristics of ice slurry in horizontal straight pipe. The critical velocity and pressure drop of ice slurry with different ice packing fraction are obtained by combining two different judgment criteria. Meanwhile,the influence of pipe diameter on critical velocity has been considered. A TRNSYS model is established to carry out the effect of ice packing fraction on the performance of ice source heat pump system in heating season. The results indicate that the critical velocity decreases slightly in the range of 1% to 10% ice packing fraction. When the return water temperature is -2.5 ℃,the corresponding ice packing fraction was 3. 42%,and the average COP reaches the peak value of 3. 0 in heating season.
