  • Abstract:
    Phase Change Material( PCM) Trombe wall system is a passive energy-saving technology of building envelope which integrates phase change materials with traditional Trombe wall. Compared with traditional Trombe wall system,this system can make full use of solar energy and nature ventilation,improving indoor thermal environment and reducing building operation energy consumption. Based on the TRNSYS software,the dynamic heat transfer model of the PCM Trombe room is established,and the key factors influencing the performance of PCM Trombe wall system are analyzed. These factors include type of glass,length of the shading,thickness of thermal storage wall,area of vents,thickness of air gap,and phase change temperature. The single factor analysis method and Genopt optimization software are used to analyze the influence of the above factors on indoor thermal environment and annual building load. The energy saving potential of the structure in hot summer and cold winter area is discussed by comparing with the traditional Trombe wall system.
