  • Abstract:
    Double layers shape-stabilized phase change materials(SSPCMs) wallboard can insulate heat in summer and pre- serve heat in winter. It could reduce building operation energy consumption and improve the indoor thermal comfort for the whole year. In order to use the SSPCMs wallboard effectively,the effects of double layers SSPCMs wallboard used in an air-conditioning room was analyzed in this paper. The operation energy consumptions in rooms with and without split variable/constant frequency air-conditioners were compared and studied. The results showed that SSPCMs room with variable frequency air -conditioner consumed less energy than normal room with variable frequency air-conditioner,and the SSPCMs wallboard could adjust indoor temperature automatically with variable air-conditioner system.
