Ma Cong, professor, School of Life Science and Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Deputy director of key Laboratory of Molecular Biophysics(Huazhong University of Science and Technology)Ministry of Education.Research focuses on the molecular basis of learning and memory in the brain;Molecular mechanisms of synaptic formation and synaptic secretion;The structure and function of important membrane proteins in the nervous system;The pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases.In recent years, he has chaired or participated in the National Natural Science Foundation for Youth, general projects, Science Foundation for Outstanding Youth, National Key basic Research and development Plan, National Natural Science Foundation for Innovative Research Group project, Hubei Outstanding Youth Fund, etc.He has published a series of research papers in international authoritative academic journals such as Science, Nature Structural & Molecular Biology, The EMBO Journal, eLife, Nature Communications, Cell Reports, Structure, The Journal of Neuroscience, etc.
