向往，华中科技大学教授、博士生导师，国家级青年人才计划入选者，国家重点研发计划项目（青年科学家）首席科学家。于2012年和2017年在华中科技大学电气与电子工程学院分别获学士和博士学位，随后在英国University of Strathclyde从事博士后研究，2022年全职加入华中科技大学电气与电子工程学院。研究方向为新能源并网、柔性直流输电技术及其在新型电力系统中的应用。在本领域发表SCI/EI论文100余篇，其中第一/通讯作者SCI论文37篇；授权中国发明专利25件。发明了自阻型柔性直流换流器，柔性直流输电三维度、四维度控制和多域故障保护技术，开发了柔性直流系统分析设计软件，成果应用于世界首个±800kV特高压多端直流输电（昆柳龙）工程。2次获...
