Dr Chao Wang is a Professor with the Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His major research interests include ultra-low-voltage circuit design, emerging AI processor design, optical-electrical congernce ASIC design, and emerging-technology IC design, especially for biomedical/healthcare, wireless sensor, IoT, Neuromorphic computing and robot applications. Currently he has three research grants from the Fundamental Research Funds of the Central Universities, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and National Key Research & Development Program of China. Dr Wang is an IEEE Senior Member and currently the chair of IEEE CASS-EDS-SSCS Wuhan Joint Chapter. He had served as a committee member (2012-2018), the vice chair (2015-2016) and chair (2017-2018) of IEEE SSCS Singapore Chapter. He has also served as Technical Program Committee (TPC) members for a number of international devices, circuits and systems conferences. He used to serve as a Guest Editor for Journal Sensors, Hindawi in 2016 and IEEE Transaction on Biomedical Circuits and Systems in 2019. Dr. Wang is currently the Associate Editor of IEEE TCAS-I, IEEE CAS Magazine, IEEE Access Journal and Elsevier Microelectronics Journal.
